lol MAD MAX's Fri to Fri drop is always better than the family films.

MMFR will end up north of $150M, yes? It will be nice if it can leg it out to $160M ala Gone Girl...

More action movies like this Hollywood, the audience has spoken!!!

I'm still not sure about 135m.

SA numbers is a nice surprise. The Rock can open a movie, why is he still on HBO doing Entourage-knock off Ballers?

They are probably paying him well. He is also a producer on the show.

By the end of this weekend, it will need roughly U$20M to reach U$135M. You're not sure it can make an extra U$20M until the end of its run?

It'll be around 114 after this weekend. Another 7.5m on weekdays and roughly the same next weekend. That puts it at 129. It'll hit 135 two weeks from now.

Provided JW doesn't annihilate it like everything else... JW is going to be BIG and probably bigger than most are expecting...

MMFR will take a hit from theater loss just like everyone else. But when a movie's been out for a month, unless it suffers huge theater loss, a big opener won't wipe it out.

Even then, it would take a massive drop for MM not to reach U$135M. And, so far, the film's performance suggests such a thing will not happen.

This movie won't have a sub 3x multiplier.

At San Andreas. Good size crowd for 5:09 showing. All adults, I don't really see many families but mine. Hope that I can make it through with no headache, but I should. If I can then I should be set to get back to MM early next week.
