Kate Beckinsale is number one for back to back weeks...Wooohooo.

She oughta fire her PR agent for not making a bigger deal out of that; an SNL hosting gig or SOMETHING.On another note, I should point out that both War Horse and TINTIN have had some sneaky legs as of late...so is that good for Tintin or not? Would YOU make a sequel or not? Some people, like myself, have issues with the film but some people love the heck out of it.

I think she`s a C lister at heart. Victoria Beckham is her best friend for crying out loud. And, than, there`s Len.So given her divine beauty and really big talent, I guess she would have done better if she`d chased after better roles and deals more agressively, which means that she is very likely happy where she is. Not everyone wants to be Meryl.

It's also behind 2009. 2012 really isn't that special.

Actually it is for the movies released so far. Nobody was really counting on major bucks from these films led by the incredible Devil Inside.

Considering the Schedule, 2012 is very special...Starting with The Devil Inside, and then Contraband making some unexpected numbers and now Red Tails surprising and the return of Underworld in a big way, all things a lot of people weren't predicting, I think 2012 is starting in a nice way.

To be fair, I think we're just surprised at the fact the films aren't doing awful which has been the tendency for these kind of films. Especially considering how dreadful the first few weeks of 2011 was.

These months can be weird...I still remember, I think it was 2008...where a few Jan-Feb films broke out big time and well, surprised the heck out of me. And it certainly wasn't just quality making that happen...I mean, Paul Blart did like $140M.
