Foreign gross total for Journey 2 ($79.2 million) is tracking 76% ahead of the comparable figure logged by the film’s 2008 predecessorJourney To The Center Of The Earth “at the same point in release in the same markets,” said Warners. Openings in France and Spain are due this week."

Journey 2 is doing well in most countries, even its domestic OW wasn't too bad at $27m which was better than the original plus in a non summer month as well. I imagine Journey 3 will be either From the Earth to the Moon or 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.

It's doing incredible numbers OS. 3D is a factor but it's still very strange that this sequel is having such a great run.
