Zoolander still below 20m after the 2nd Friday...despite having a 4-day ow. 2 disappointing.

If they didn't even bother inflating it by $200k so the can claim $20M by Friday, you know they've officially threw in the towels on this bomb.

I like Garry Marshall. But everything he has put out since The Princess Diaries...oof. Georgia Rule is one of the few movies I can recall seeing that made me feel sick from its tone-deafness (it's a movie in which Lindsay seducing Dermot Mulroney by putting on his dead wife's perfume is meant to be a heartwarming moment. Yes, you read that correctly).

I avoid his stuff to continue liking him, although I did catch New Year's Eve on HBO 2-3 years ago and thought it was a hoot*.

Don't EVER watch it when you're not high.

It's like comedy sequels are almost always a bad idea or something. Especially ones that come a decade too late

When you wait that long, you need to produce something that was worth it. They apparently didn't and so this is the result.

Well, not all comedy sequels comes with poor box office results.

The ones that were huge are:

Hangover 2 = $586M WW

Meet The Fockers = $516M WW

22 Jump Street = $331M WW

Pitch Perfect 2 = $287M WW

All this talk comparing shit comedies, thank goodness Midnight Run is on to remind me that great comedies do exist.

Lol, so much for getting Spectre over 200M

If they can't push it over 200M, it will end up being the first movie in history to end its run with a gross between 199-200M. Every other movie which has got this close has been pushed over the mark.
