At this point its better to not expect big increase. Market has stagnated. But there is Godzilla factor which could come into play. Anyway there is long way to go. We cannot predict 2020 today.

As a fan of the series. I do think it attacking some thing I love. How would you feel if I made fun of a movie or show you loved? I'm ok with accepting it not doing good,but that's not what he was doing. He was singling out one movie on tracking thread saying people shouldn't post it numbers,because he doesn't like PR.

Almost no one is making fun of it. They're simply stating how it is selling at the moment. It is not a comment on the quality of the movie (whether it's liked or not), it's merely the facts of its box-office.

After keeping ahead of JttW2s and WCs pace for 2 weeks it wound up with the lowest PS multi and fell below hopeful expectations. It will be a good chart for T5. T4 made 175m with just 60k show in 2014. With 2000 more screens added and a school out Friday, maybe it cracks 500m OD with 175k shows. T4s runtime was 2:45. We'll be sure to factor that in next time.

Nope. FF8 didn't get 10k shows til Fri afternoon and then did 2.5m. POTC5 had 1m at 1am today, 40%. Let's see how close PS tracks to that percentage. If so, that would mean 68m PS.  200m+ OD. 1.2B+ run.

 

Still no run time listed for TF5. If it's 2:15 it will take down FF8 OW. If it's 2:45 like TF4 it won't with one less show per screen for the day.

Well 200m is the baseline at 3x PS. Could be 4x at 270m OD, 900m OW, 1.6b total. And of course PS could be higher with a larger final ramp up. 

Looks like PS will double today, as usual we'll know better by monday.

 

Punched in a similar PS run to Kong/Batb/GotG and came up with 80.5m PS. 2.1m is tonight's est total

×1.4×1.5×1.75=80.5m

65-80m is the range to be updated sun/mon

Yes,i know it doing badly I never denied that. I just find it odd you guys feel need to attack PR only. Arthur is not doing great. Yet, seems nobody cracking jokes about it. That's what I'm talking about @Tele Came Back. Yes, you had a PR troll a while back. Even I called him out before. Doesn't mean just because you had one troll were all like him. I even said in other thread I thought it BO run was bad. So I'm not exactly naïve to how it doing.

Pirates is in a great position to break out huge. Already over 3200 midnight showtimes. Holiday weekend and so I think 2nd biggest OW of all time could happen. I dont think it will have great legs but should be good enough for 1.5B yuan.

It fell a little short of a 100% bump yesterday finishing at 1.95m at 1am but it is on pace to get to 3m tonight keeping pace with other PS runs with a slightly more than 50% increase. Looking for at least another million tomorrow for a 33% increase to keep tracking 80m
