You realize that was the July 4th weekend for The Notebook, right? The preceding weekdays were stronger because it's a more popular time to go the movies in general. If the weekend and the week preceding it were stronger box office times and Notebook STILL fell 45% on the three-day, doesn't that make it more likely that MBY, without those advantages, could drop over 50%? Arlo245
Zootopia with a 13% drop from from Tuesday and that's with the blue-ray released! Impressive. I was so wrong in saying this would end at $337-338 million. This has a legitimate shot at finishing with $340 million!

Well, it's more than a legitimate shot of reaching that arbitrary milestone at this point. More like a "very likely outcome".

More like a "very likely outcome". Yes I agree. I actually don't know why I included the word "shot" as if there was a big enough chance of it coming below $340 million. I knew this was gonna clear it (I forgot to add "or more" after $340 million) (I also often mistake legitimate for certain) Haha I guess I might still have a low bias on the film due to my $337 million prediction, no matter how silly that sounds. But all things aside, I personally think $341 million is the magic number (I like odd numbers ) Edited June 10, 2016 by Arlo245
