Lol!

In all seriousness though, I love when Marvel just completely fakes us out into thinking that certain things will be in the movie, but when we actually see it, it's not the same thing.

I still remember the first Avengers: Infiniy War trailer and so many of those shots that didn't end up in the final film as well as the trailers for Avengers: Endgame. I hope that's the case with Deadpool and Wolverine.

I have no idea what the leaks are but the answer is always yes. This is a pretty normal part of marketing for a number of films/tv shows that encountered significant leaks. e.g. Remember HBO claiming Game of Thrones' was going to film ~8 separate endings? It's easy and cheap to make this sort of accusation and no one remembers it after the fact.

to be fair, wasn't the biggest example the hulk which was less a fakeout than a late change to the film's ending?

Dr Strange 2 numbers OW/DOM/WW will probably still be the floor.

I still think if word-of-mouth is on the levels of something like Spider-Man: No Way Home or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, $200M can happen.

Especially after the summer we've had where every movie that's done well has had great walk-up business, I feel like D&W is a no brainer when it comes to having strong walk-ups which will be the case if word-of-mouth is good.

Definitely not the floor if the movie is mid.

The case for this going over DS2 is that quality and reception should be higher.

It's already tracking on par with DS2. Why would Deadpool have worse legs? DS2 was mid at best.

DS2 is still ahead of it in pretty much every sample and the only reason to expect a better IM given time of the year would be better reception.
