I have no idea how OS collective drops day wise. I suppose one could go back and collect that data for multiple films and get an idea but its too much work. 

 

I have it at a 30% drop for tomorrow which i dont know if it is too much or too little. But going with 30% drop and assuming it made 58 today takes it to 136m OS weekend. 

 

Lets assume it makes 140 this weekend of which 15m is probably from Russia which gives us a weekend of 125m. 

 

Last week it did approximately 288m over the weekend. So 125/288 gives us a drop of 56.7% which yes is a decent drop considering the humongous opening weekend. This is a better drop than F7 I think, I dont have numbers for TFA

How should drops be next weekend?

 

If I am incorrect it should be over 850 million minus China by next Sunday.

Last saturday was about 110 according to someone who posted individual numbers. Ill assume that is correct. If the 58 number today is correct as well than it did about 52.5ish without Russia. That gives us a drop of 52.3% which although not sub 50 is still very good. 

 

As for 1b Os-Ch, I think that is very difficult but not impossible. I will not bet on it. 900 will happen though and even 950 is looking good unless it completely collapses against Deadpool

It will be at 700 or close by Sunday today OS. Last week it did around 180m over the weekdays. Due to Mon-Tue being inflated last week I have it falling around 63% over the weekdays giving it around 65m over the weekdays. And a 50% drop over the next weekend gives us around 65m. 

 

So adding 700+65weekdays+65weekend = 830m OS-Ch by next Sunday

 

PS: my drops are complete guesses and not really based on any data so I could be wildly wrong but I dont think I will be wrong by much.

Movies like this usually start dropping faster os than in the u.s. Anyway does this have any smaller markets still to open, even a few 1-2million$ markets, just curious.

I think (and sincerely hope) he meant 15m per weekday, I.e. About 60m for weekdays total

 

but yeah, 820-840 seems a reasonable Sunday goal

add 220-250 OW for China

and about 540-560 for domestic

 

should be at about 1.58-1.65 billion next Sunday. Add another 200 for China, and another 100 at least for domestic and OS, should be looking at roughly 2 billion total on the dot

Yeah its gonna be a close race with 2b. I wanna wait for a few days to see how legs will be overall. Remember everyone freaked when SMH had bad drops in 2nd and 3rd weekend but then developed amazing legs and ended up with one of the best multi of all SH movies. 

 

All depends on China now. If it indeed does as big numbers as are being thrown around then even TFA WW should go down but I am skeptical at this point

I used daily numbers someone posted in this thread last weekend so I am using those. I am not sure how accurate those numbers are. But yes if it was 105 instead of 110 then the drop will be even better
