Some age appropriate films for Tele Jr (but that'll also culture him):

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Princess Mononoke

Watership Down

The Princess Bride

Mary Poppins

Modern Times

The Sound of Music

The Wizard of Oz

Magic Mike

Anne of Green Gables

E.T.

Spirited Away

October Sky

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

It's A Wonderful Life

Mr Smith Goes to Washington

A Clockwork Orange

Pinocchio

My Neighbor Totoro

Red River

My Fair Lady

The Wolf of Wall Street

Inside Out

Bambi

I want Tele to film his son's reaction to The Wolf of Wall Street.

I might have to give Allied a try. It never really caught my interest, but quite a few people on here seem to like it.

I really enjoyed it

I hate Paramount. They'll release steels for shit like Jack Reacher 2 but not those sweet Arrival and Allied steels :sadben:

Sony didn't released a steel for Arrival here. I was mad as hell. Allied was huge here so maybe it is why they decided to release it on steelbook here? Idk. We also have Jack Reacher 2 and XXX3 in the format.

Have you shown him other Laika films like Paranorman?

Also nothing wrong with showing your kid some PG-13 material (show him more of FOTR today BTW), just as long as it's not a bad influence on him. Makes me jealous too, my mom wouldn't really let me watch a PG-13 film until I was like 9.

Haven't watched PARANORMAN but he's seen KUBO and BOX TROLLS. (He'd probably like PARANORMAN, one of these days we'll do it).

...Did he wanna watch more?

Yes. :) He was a wee bit scared during the Barad-Dur bits and a little bored during some of Gandalf's explanations. We'll see if he wants to watch a little more tomorrow.

Show him Iron Man...and steer him towards my alma mater...

Yah, IRON MAN probably isn't too far off. He's seen chunks of CAP AMERICA and AVENGERS and all of SPIDER-MAN 3 (!).

I am waiting for you to show him Jurassic Park.

This will be soon. He's into dinosaurs.

While we're at it, let's show him BOYS DON'T CRY and LAST TANGO IN PARIS.

If he doesn't see Blue is the Warmest Color and Black Swan before he's 10 than Tele has failed him.

Has he seen The Land Before Time (or any of its sequels) yet?
