Hits close to home with a demographic that has proven with Coco and the Derbez movies that they can show up for movies that appeal to them as well, nevermind just the generally universal appeal of horror movies period; the James Wan producer credit will definitely help it from a marketing perspective; and the concept is just pretty interesting. And it's gonna be a huge hit in Latin America. 150-200M+ WW wouldn't shock me. Apparently it had the best reaction at a recent WB event.

The Stingray
2018 was a great year for horror. Hereditary blew me away, Suspiria was a fantastic reimagining, Strangers 2 was one of the best slashers I have seen in years, and Halloween was a very solid sequel... The ones I'm looking forward to the most in 2019 is The Lighthouse, directed by The Witch director Robert Englund, and Mike Flanagan's The Shining sequel.

Robert Englund (the name you had) is the actor who originally portrayed Freddy Krueger Edited January 1, 2019 by MCKillswitch123

Oooh I wasn't even aware that Eggers was doing a new movie. Does THE LIGHTHOUSE have a release date in 2019?
