Jurassic World: Dominion | June 10 2022 | 6th Most Profitable Movie of 2023

Recommended Posts

All this slander of Fallen Kingdom :sadno:

It is my duty as the resistent Jurassic Park/World apologist that i am to disagree. Fallen Kingdom is (very) stupid, yes, but its a masterpiece nonetheless. Great movie. 10/10. It has dinosaurs in it.

Dont fight me with arguments, they wont convince me :qotd:

Jurassic World getting some Dino sized competition from Apple

I'm sure there will be comparisons between the 2, especially considering this comes only a couple before JW3

This looks really good. If anything though, it could be indirect marketing for Jurassic World.

I don’t think an Apple TV+ exclusive coming out a few weeks before the theatrical JW3 is really competition.

I don’t see this effecting JW3’s BO at all. They’re both very different things releasing in very different ways.

Looks like this is (reportedly) clocking in at 147 minutes.

Jurassic World was 124 minutes, Fallen Kingdom 128 min.

So please be true. Every additional minute will probably feature a dinosaur and make my life a happier place.

Since Dominion opens here in Germany already on Thursday June 9th, i have planned my summer semester classes accordingly so that i have no classes in the evening past 5 pm. In that way, i should be able to achieve my goal of seeing the movie in the opening weekend here (Thu-Sun) atleast 2 times a day, so 8 viewings in the inital phase. After that, 1 viewing a day for approx. 2 weeks should be enough i think.

I’m also a massive fan of the franchise but that seems a little excessive

I do not even know how many ive read during the pandemic alone. Books are great and i mean real books, not ebooks. If i cant hold it in my hand, it is not 100% a real book imo.

Yes. All the time in between showings should preferably be spent reading the Crichton novels @Brainbug

I read Jurassic Park and Lost World yearly. Though i dont think that would come as a surprise at this point ...
