The Good Dinosaur | Peter Sohn | BR/DVD release 2-23-2016 | Pixar's first BO flop

Recommended Posts

Will this be another IO and open second on its first weekend?

It's possible. Assuming MJP2 follows Catching Fire, a ~160M OW would lead to a ~75M second weekend. The Good Dinosaur is coming off Inside Out and Jurassic World, if the reviews are great I think there's a shot it's #1, but the Wednesday release will more than likely cause it to be second.

Seems very likely it'll open second, though also like Frozen it could be #1 its second weekend

It's more than likely going to be #1 on it's second weekend. The last two Hunger Games dropped to the 20's in their third weekend and the first went to 33M.

That is not that early. we just had a short teaser. 1st full trailer around 4 months to release is fairly normal.

The teaser premiered less than a month ago. If they were just going to release a trailer this quickly, why'd they bother with a teaser?

Edit: ....maybe we should've looked at the link first becuase it seems that Tribefan is just trolling us

I just looked and there's no TGD listing... hmm...
There will eventually be another trailer is what I meant. Though now that I think about it that joke probably works a lot better for a real news item. I just wanted to be the first to use it
