SLAM!
Maquia: When The Promised Flower Blooms July 21st, 12:55 pm, 6-7 patrons (all young men) Regal Mayfaire Stadium 16, Wilmington NC (no trailers) Appropriately quiet audience. The film made me emotional at the end, as it did for others. A worker was standing at the theater's alleyway, smiling at the screen as the film was ending, and when I walked by, I pointed to the screen as the credits rolled, saying, "Great film," and the worker smiled, nodding his head. I then walked down the hallway where all the theater entrances are, briskly and with vigor. The Equalizer 2 July 21st, 3:45 pm, 90%-100% full Regal Mayfaire Stadium 16, Wilmington NC Trailers The Predator [red band] Hell Fest Nobody's Fool Night School The Meg Serenity The Girl in the Spider's Web White Boy Rick (Yep. That's right. Eight. Entire. Trailers. Ugh.) Laughs at appropriate times. The patron next to me fell asleep multiple times, as the first half is practically as slow as molasses. But there was excited chatter among the crowd as the audience shuffled out. Edited July 22, 2018 by Slambros
