trifle
Bourne August 12, 2016 AMC theater (in a shopping mall in NJ) We bought the last two tickets in a smaller theater trailers Loving Snowden cell phone ad (loved it) Why Him? (laughs) The Accountant Sully The Great Wall Mechanics Resurrection (outright talking started half way through, people tuned out of trailer.) Some laughter in the right places, but not much reaction that I could note. The guy I was with commented that all the movies coming out looked terrible. I said the Accountant might be interesting, and he said it only looked that way because the others were even worse. It was the first time I ever was in one of those seats-tilt-back-by-button plush places (the upscale theaters here are like Arclight and don't have that.) It was pretty great, except having the last two tickets we were at the immediate front right corner, which wasn't the best. Star Trek Beyond August 13, 2016 Regal Theater Peekskill NY theater about half full Trailers Rogue One Ben Hur The Magnificent Seven The Great Wall When the Bough Breaks Sully No real reaction to the trailers, people laughed periodically at jokes in the movie.
Morieris
Florence Foster Jenkins August 20th, 2016 - 1:50 PM Trailers: There were a few mutterings at the Sully trailer but none for American Pastoral, Ben Hur, The movie with Lily Collins and young Han Solo, or A Monster Calls. Still pretty full, 40% I'd guess. I was the youngest person there by about 30 years. Lots of laughs. A few questions. Kubo and the Two Strings 3D August 19th, 2016 - 1:55 PM Me and three other people. That's it. Trailers: A Monster Calls - actual genuine interest. This was my first time seeing the trailer and I am really excited. Sing - some interest from what sounds like a young child. Moana - More happy chatter. Trolls - Oh boy, more cheering! Storks - Absolute dead silence. Quietest theater i've ever been in.
