SchumacherFTW
Bad for Wrath. Also 21 Jump Street seems to be doing bad Not really, since OW, it's dropped only £500,000 over 3 weekends after starting with £1.4m. Not bad at all really. Jonwo
21JS is actually doing great considering it was number 2 against TDI and has had good drops.

SchumacherFTW
21 JUMP STREET?!?! Why is my local dropping it in favour of Marigold Hotel?!
Jonwo
The Pirates! had a very good week as did The Hunger Games. Mirror Mirror did well but that total is for seven days rather than three. 21 Jump Street's drops are just incredible, hopefully should do £8-9m by the end of its run.Titanic 3D did really well, could be number 1 again although it faces Battleship which opens Wednesday. Elessar
Wow, Titanic opened at number 1! Some of the rare markets where that is the case. Must be everything else is doing shitty numbers...
Jonwo
Titanic seems to resonate more with UK audiences for some reason, those numbers are in line with what The Lion King did in October which for a rerelease is very good considering it's very long. Elessar
Well, it's about the same opening as in Germany or France, isn't it? It's just that other movies are doing worse in the UK.

SchumacherFTW
Can I say that number for Titanic is a lot more impressive than TLK. On OW at my local, TLK had 23 Screenings over the 3 days.. Titanic had just 6, nearly a QUARTER of the shows.
Heretic
That's great for Titanic. Around what I expected.Fantastic drop for THG, it should comfortable reach £20m now with holidays continuing this week.

Heretic
So Battleship is out tomorrow and it is orange Wednesdays during the holiday so it should do pretty well, unless it somehow flat-out bombs. I'm expecting it to be number 1 easy. Over the 5 day £4m wouldn't be out of the question. Edited April 10, 2012 by Heretic
CJohn
It is still Easter holidays in the UK? Easter holidays ended yesterday here. And it was 2 weeks.

Jonwo
Battleship has two weeks to itself before The Avengers so it should attract a decent gross. American Pie Reunion should do well when it comes out in May.
