MrPink
Hottest weekend of the year coming for the UK.UH-OH.Annoying. That should mute grosses for another weekend. I'm sure audiences will come back though, but it's wasted time for holdovers.
The Dark Alfred
I'm really impressed with TDKR's run. One of the best box office runs in the UK for sure. It's against the Olympics and the good weather, but will beat TDK and TA in 2D! Brave obviously will win the week, the interesting showdown will be Brave 3-day vs TE 3-day and Bourne 7-day vs TE 4-day.Tue numbers: Brave $0.725, Ted £0.630, Bourne £0.530, TDKR £0.
Heretic
So what's that, around £1m for Bourne so far? Should be heading for around £4m full week then, it seems. Pretty weak.Ted should be around £21-22m by Sunday, and TDKR near £50m. Both fantastic totals. The Expendables probably around £3m for the 4 day. But I think the weather's going to have a pretty big impact if the forecast remains. The evening standard today was predicting 32 degrees in London on Saturday and over 30 on Sunday too. Robertron
England sees 30 degree days? I picture England as -10 C with a chance snowstorms, rain hail and doom and gloom.

ecstasy
Good God Ted is a beast. Is Bourne flopping in the UK or what? Those don't look like good numbers. How did the other Bourne movies do?
Heretic
It's not outright flopping, but it's not doing particularly well. The last Bourne movie opened to over £6.5m, for a total of £23.5m. This'll probably open to around £4-4.5m full week, with a £11-12m total.
Heretic
Actually, no. £4m is horrible for 7 days. t's flopping.

Heretic
Oh wow.Still in shock at how well Ted is doing though.Yeah, it's doing fantastically. With the way it's going, it could end in the mid to high £20m's.
Jonwo
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo did £4-5m seven day but that was an 18 rated thriller whereas Bourne is a 12A so it should be doing better. Brave is doing great although hard to gage its legs as it only has two weeks of holidays left, apart from Paranorman in September, it has no competition until October so a £20m finish is likely. Heretic
Hopefully nearer £25m than £20m.
The Dark Alfred
40% drops everywhere on Thursday as expected. Brave remains #1, The Expendables won't enter the top 3, but don't freak out, it only had preview screenings in the evening, running 2 shows versus other film's 4 or 5. Ted reached £20, TDKR passed Goblet of Fire, will overtake TDK tomorrow.
Jonwo
Does Brave £5m total include Scotland and Ireland or just England and Wales? I imagine Expendables will pick up from Friday onwards.
