UKBoxOffice
LLM was flat\up slightly today, but yeah, still a great opening for Spidey regardless
UKBoxOffice
Saturday Spider-Verse £2.66m TLM £1.44m (surprising, later evening business must have been almost non-existant) Fast X £410k GotG £361k Boogeyman £178k
Heretic
Wow very muted Saturday again. Weather must be playing a very big factor also. Looks more like £9m opening for Spiderverse. Still a great opening. Good weather looks set to continue for the foreseeable, and next weekend actually looks hotter. Hot weather, we will go do plenty of outdoor stuff during the early nice days in the year rather than go to the cinema. Evens out as the days are consistently better though. Are schools off and any other factors? I believe most schools are back this week so no more holidays until later in July when they break up for summer. Having said that, I think Spiderverse will play decently during the week and not the same as most other animated films given it is skewing older. Could be a close race for number 1 this weekend as don’t expect Transformers to do particularly well, it’s popularity like much of Europe/US has massively declined. Similar to F&F really. Only other factor is the weather, which given the forecasts for the weekend looks to be hotting up, although some rain is also forecast which might help. Krissykins
From that Screen Daily article, Dumbo making £34.4m here is wild lol. 10% of its worldwide gross. Excellent start for Spider-Verse and hold for Little Mermaid.
SnokesLegs
Ooof, my local is dropping Fast X after Thursday. That was…fast.
Jonwo
The Little Mermaid's 15% drop is amazing, it does have the advantage that there is nothing for that female market until Barbie, maybe No Hard Feelings at a push.
