Heretic
That's crazy for Skyfall. Will probably end up near £103m in the end.
Heretic
I wonder what Les Mis will do next weekend. So many people seem to want to see it, I wouldn't be surprised if it hit £9-10m.
JCS
I wonder what Les Mis will do next weekend. So many people seem to want to see it, I wouldn't be surprised if it hit £9-10m.£7M I think.
Jonwo
I think Les Mis will start off very well, Mamma Mia! did £6.5m for its OW so I guess Les Mis will do similar numbers if not slightly more. £7-8m would be a great start.
SchumacherFTW
The fact that Les Mis has been booking two screens at my local cineworld since a week after booking opened has had me convince in a £6m+ opening. Could get close to £10m I think.
JCS
2012 Review Overall, UK box office in 2012 grossed $1.878bn (£1.172bn), narrowly ahead of 2011’s $1.812bn (£1.130bn) and marked the fourth consecutive year that box office crossed the $1.5bn barrier. Amazing year!!! http://www.screendaily.com/news/skyfall-propels-sony-to-top-of-uk-market/5050328.article?referrer=RSS

Heretic
Pretty expected numbers, but good for everything. Especially The Impossible, it seems to be doing very well.
The Dark Alfred
It's a Sat film, but I told you it will be fading. It has 6 more days to make money, it will collapse next weekend when Les Mis opens.
Heretic
shit Hobbit looks to be fadingNot really. Heading for about £4m this weekend which is around expected. Still going to beat The Avengers, and come very close to TDKR.
Elessar
Alfred is biased. Don't fall for him. ;)Something like Pi is gonna have better legs, it's more of a slow burner.
Heretic
The Hobbit will be at £50m +/- £1m after next weekend.Still on track for mid £50m's.
The Dark Alfred
I'm not biased. It's doing fine, but Les Mis will kill it next weekend. It's gonna have a healthy total, but when you consider that all the LOTR films are sitting in the all time top 10, TH could have done better. Heretic
It could've done better everywhere, but in the end it'll end with a very respectable total and multiplier.
John Marston
why will Les Mis "kill it"? It's not like it is the exact same type of film. It didn't kill it in the US
Heretic
Les Mis takes IMAX screens. And it's going to have a huge opening and any huge opening is bound to effect holdovers at least a little bit.
Jonwo
I think WB will be more than happy with The Hobbit's UK box office total. The UK Box office this Christmas has done better than the last two thanks to Hobbit, Pi and to an extent Jack Reacher which have all performed well. Fake
Excellent for Pi. It really could push towards 25m GBP.
