Hiccup
on Wednesday Descendants was number 1 with £446k, Chronicle number 2 with £397kThat would be about $628,000 in US currency. Meh opening. Hopefully word of mouth can cause larger numbers over the weekend and a good hold on Thursday.

Heretic
Great opening for Chronicle....Some big falls this week though likely due to the weather. Hopefully things will rebound this weekend.Should be some solid openings aswell...The Muppets could pull off £3m+ I think, and hold very well throughout half-term. Haven't really been seeing much advertisement for it though... Star Wars will probably do decently aswell with a 4 day opening + previews. Maybe £1.5m. The Woman in Black is getting fantastic advertisement. Should do really well. Over £1m.
Heretic
The Vow could surprise too... Should be a solid half-term.

SchumacherFTW
Aye. Hopefully it'll start clearing up tomorrow. I'm shocked that The Vow isn't coming to my local 6 screen considering whatever it loses at the weekend it'll recover easily on tuesday. Jonwo
Surprised Journey 2 didn't do so well but it was affected by the cold weather and it will good business during half term given the lack of kids films. Jack and Jill didn't do too badly considering the minimal marketing. The Muppets I think £3-4m OW but I will be happy if it opens bigger. Jonwo
The Vow should do well on Valentine's Day, the previews for This Means War should do well but still FOX should have released it at half term rather than two weeks later.
Jonwo
Going off-topic, wonder what's replacing the Muppets Orange ad given the film's out on Friday? The Pirates! would be good but the film's out in March, maybe Men in Black 3 or The Avengers?
SchumacherFTW
For all we know the muppets could stick around another couple of months like Rio did...
Krissykins
Can't believe Jack and Jill made £800,000 but Young Adult didn't go top 10.Something is wrong with people's heads.

I've seen quite a few people talk about it on FB...and I just checked local cinemas around me and advance booking is surprisingly strong.
