Jonwo
Transformers really got borked by what is frankly a lot of male skewing competition. The Little Mermaid is killing it at the moment because it's pretty much as I've said before, the only thing for girls to see until Ruby Gilman and Elemental. The Dark Alfred
It's great to see that JW4 ends up beating FAST X, TF and FLASH. That's a great hold for TLM, it's having a disappointing overseas run, but UK is one of the markets it's going really well.

Krissykins
Not a great weekend, weather impacting still. Next weekend will be even quieter, but maybe some room for better holds. Flash opening is 10th of the 13 DCEU films. Ouch. GOTG3 £5m away from GOTG2, unreachable of course but it passed the original film. Transformers and Fast X low for their franchises (last and 7th). Not a great summer for franchises.
Heretic
The weather outlook is looking increasingly hot into the foreseeable future so cinemas will likely suffer more as a result.

Avatree
Any speculation on what today's secret unlimited film could be? Indiana Jones has no review embargo 🤔 Been a few years since I've done a secret unlimited screening so not sure if they still do major films
SchumacherFTW
Odeon have one as well, they're making it sound like Elemental. Makes sense, 3 weeks out and fully finished

You have to have varied tastes for them. I remember everyone left when it was Hatching, a subtitled body-horror from Finland. My partner and I were the only people who stayed. Really enjoyed it lol
Jonwo
Surely the whole point of a secret screening is that you have no idea what it'll be? I knew it'd be something that's either been released elsewhere, it wasn't likely to be Barbie or Oppenheimer.
SnokesLegs
My favourite Secret Screening was definitely the one in early December 2015. It sold out two screens because foolish people for some reason thought that it was going to be The Force Awakens, people were turning up in Star Wars costumes, t-shirts, and carrying lightsabers….and then the BBFC card for In the Heart of the Sea came up 😂 1

The best one was Incredibles 2 being a secret screening.
