Allanheimer
47 minutes ago, UKBoxOffice said: Covenant Thursday (not sure if these were limited previews because it seems low) £314k Friday £1.66m Saturday £1.84m Sunday £1.22m Lifetime £12.08m Prometheus (Easter Weekend Opening) Friday £2.21m Saturday £2.02m Sunday £2.10m Lifetime £25.02m The Covenant previews were early access screenings bundled with a double bill of Alien & Prometheus that took place a couple days before iirc. I only know that because that's how I saw it early. Also that was a particularly late Easter in 2012, didn't know it could be in June 😉

The Whitsun Bank Holiday (May 28th) was delayed a week to June 4th with an extra Bank Holiday on Tuesday, the week before May 28th - June 1st was school half-term. 1

It was actually Queen's Jubilee bank holiday weekend. Hence the inflated Sunday as no work the next day

Krissykins
Shame Romulus couldn’t beat Covenant, but should still be a decent opening. Great hold for It Ends with Us too.

Krissykins
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice still not rated and it just had a 4th trailer cut receive a 15. There’s a lot of pushback on social media in the response to ads/posts from WB asking what age it is. I think this is going to get slapped with a 15. Not necessarily, they’ve been rating things quite close to release lately (e.g. Borderlands was rated the week before release), so I don’t think it definitely means they’re having a back and forth with WB or anything. Still wouldn’t be surprised with a 15 though, it does have more 15 rated trailers than 12’s which isn’t a good sign for a 12A.
