JCS
I hope The Hobbit hits £7m this weekend.Maybe even £8M+ (I wish)...
Heretic
November was an unprecedented month for the UK.17,644,644 admissions. By FAR the highest in at least a decade, and the biggest month of the year to date. The next highest November was 2006 at 15,476,931.October + November have been monstrous compared with previous years. I think 2012 could have the highest admissions of the 21st century so far.
SchumacherFTW
Dunno how high Hobbit can hit this weekend, but there were about 50 people in my HFR show earlier at 20 to 12. Very good film, way better than I expected.

Very good film, way better than I expected. How do you find the HFR? I liked it but I've heard mixed reviews from others, Hoping Pitch Perfect does well but I think it'll be crushed by Hobbit, Pi and Jack Reacher. The Dark Alfred
I hope that Jack Reacher will do decent business. Will get back to you guys with Friday updates later.
The Dark Alfred
Poor Friday. Rest of the weekend will be better. Hobbit 17% up, slight increase for Pi as well, Pitch Perfect is distant third, but it's a promising start, should easily do an OW above £1m. Heretic
Whaaaaat? It must be something to do with the last weekend before Christmas because that's not a.normal increase for a Friday. Tomorrow's meant to be the busiest shopping day of the year so I'm not at all sure how this weekend's going to play out. Perhaps flat on Sunday and Monday. JCS
Decent Friday, hope The Hobbit and Life of Pi both have good weekends. Holidays begin NOW so grosses should be booming!
Jonwo
I think it'll be very busy from Boxing Day onwards with the holdovers, Jack Reacher I think will draw an audience as its the only action film that has come out in a while while I think Parental Guidance will bomb. lab276
I think 2012 could have the highest admissions of the 21st century so far.Sadly, I don't think that's possible. It's ahead of 2011, but December would need to be larger than November for that to happen. But it's very likely to end up second.
Fake
How much did TH1 and LOP do on Friday? Any final number?

Heretic
I don't understand how films barely increased. There must be some sort of reason.

Heretic
Yeah, must be to do with it being only a few days before Christmas. Lots of people travelling, everyone doing last minute shopping etc...I expect it to stay fairly flat next weekend with very strong weekdays from boxing day onwards.
