Jonwo
The Descendants should do well, the fact it has already won awards should make it appealing to audiences plus it has George Clooney.
The Dark Alfred
I nailed Haywire's #2 spot and Underworld's OW. J. Edgar did even worse than I predicted. I was thinking £0.5, but it didn't even make the top 10. The Artist will climb into the top 5 next weekend.
SchumacherFTW
It still did £0.5m alfred, according to Charles Gant.

SchumacherFTW
Oh how I loathe cinemas on a Wednesday, the majority of people have no decorum and no idea what they're bloody doing. My curse for this being my only chance to catch Haywire and Underworld I guess. Still finding it strange that Haywire's in the joint biggest screen and Underworld's in the smallest. The Dark Alfred
WH will easily be #1 again.Descendants £1mThe Artist £0.8m - joke of the year, it's getting IMAX treatment, yes you've heard it right, craziest thing everThe Grey £0.7mA Monster In Paris £0.4m Edited January 26, 2012 by The Dark Alfred
SchumacherFTW
Where are you getting that from? Underworld's still taking up digital IMAX's, with journey 2 jumping in on the third.
Krissykins
I think Woman In Black will do well here, seen lots of advertising. Not alot outside of the internet for Chronicle however, and it opens on Wednesday....
SchumacherFTW
They had a few ads during the Liverpool v City game on weds. I've seen a fair few on Comedy Central too (I'm addicted to Two and a Half Men atm).

Jonwo
That week is incredibly busy with Star Wars 3D, The Muppets as well as ELAIC. It'll be top five at least. Journey 2 comes out next week and I reckon that'll be number 1 or 2, can't see Jack and Jill or Chronicle doing that great.
CJohn
Chronicle will flop OS. Jack & Jill too. It doesn't have the same appeal has other Sandler comdies like Just Go With It or Grown Ups.
Jonwo
I don't mind Adam Sandler but Jack and Jill looks awful.

The Dark Alfred
Jack and Jill will tank, it might do The Sitter numbers.

Heretic
Great for War Horse. May still be able to creep up to £20m.Solid openings too this week, I think The Descendants will hold well throughout the coming weeks. SH2 has had an amazing multiplier.Half term soon...I expect some good things from The Muppets, as well as holdovers. The Woman in Black could do pretty well too. SchumacherFTW
Heck of a drop for Haywire there. Not bad for Underworld there, especially if they lost a similar number of shows as they did at my local cineworld.
Jonwo
SH2 will beat the first film total, Mission Impossible has done well as well. War Horse should hit £20m with ease.
