Jonwo
WIR takes #1 spot AGAIN, what a beast! Hansel + Gretel is #2 with $2.4M OW.Hansel and Gretel did okay although it did have previews, WIR has done well to be number 1 for three weekends, it must have hit £20m by now. Oz will dethrone it next week.

Heretic
Yeah...converting yourself will get you close enough I suppose. It's horrible how much the pound to dollar has dropped.

PatrickvD
Because it was: As it was with A Good Day to Die Hard’s UK debut,Wreck-It Ralph dropped to second as a result of the preview-boosted UK opening of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. Disney can still be mightily pleased with Wreck-It Ralph’s fourth weekend though as a further $2.1m (£1.4m) saw it past the £20m mark in the UK to stand at $30.72m (£20.43m). That puts the 3D animation set in the world of arcade games narrowly behind Tangled’s $30.79m (£20.47m) which it will surpass this week. Heretic
That's a big drop for Ralph. Expected because holidays are over, but it'll get hit hard again this weekend with the opening of Oz. Still, a great total, and it should finish near £24m.I expect Oz to break out, not on the same scale as AIW but a £5m opening wouldn't surprise me. A few weeks after opening it has the Easter holidays, which should extend its legs nicely.

Jonwo
Ralph has had a great run, I I imagine its surpassed all expectations, Oz is difficult to predict but I think £5-6m is likely, The Wizard of Oz isn't as popular compared to the US but its a known property which should help it, the only other films out this week are Parker and Side Effects,If previews are excluded from both the takings of Die Hard and Hansel and Gretel then it means Ralph as been the weekend number 1 for four weeks running. Mama had a good drop and Die Hard despite the bad reviews is doing alright and should £10m soon, all the other openings bombed, Edited March 4, 2013 by Jonwo

JCS
So early estimates had WIR as number 1 but with previews and even with these previews, Hansel & Gretel only just beats it for #1 spot. DH5 is crashing and burning with its awful WOM... Oz should open with at least £3M for sure!

SchumacherFTW
Between £3-£5M is all I can see for Oz to be honest on OW. I think that's a little pessimistic. £6m is the minimum that I can see this weekend.
htall90
Oz should be big like it should be in the uk the first big tentpole of the year and the first big film £5 mil would be a disappoint considering this.
