Don’t think this was mentioned during the presentation, but Ahsoka is a limited series.

For once.  FOR ACTUAL ONCE, we have thematic reason to finally have Force Ghost Anakin.

 

I have no idea if this is even a possibility, story wise, but if anyone is mad enough to bring in Force Ghost Anakin, it is absolutely Dave "I came up with the World Between Worlds and laughed as I did it" Filoni.

 

Plus Rosario Dawson and Hayden Christensen have worked together before (Shattered Glass).

I actually checked to make sure before I made my post, and he has a decently extensive catalogue in live action TV, so it's not like they'd be hiring someone with no experience on that side of things.  It absolutely would raise his profile even more though, I agree, as well as hopefully get people to listen to some of his more impressive back catalogue he's done for the SW animated series.

The odds of Ahsoka meeting Luke in this series have to be pretty high after his appearance in Mando, right? It would be such a great moment, and Lucasfilm has shown they're willing to include Luke on the TV side.

• The story of The Mandalorian (Mando, Ahsoka, Rangers, BOBF, etc) will extend into at least the mid-2020s, and talks are taking place about possibly even having feature films.
• KRT describes Ahsoka as a Rebels successor series, rather than a sequel.
