I was wondering what would be coming out on the 9th because that date was otherwise empty (because there’s only so many films that won’t be a complete bust if it’s placed right in front of Avatar 2). Have they specified if it’s starting limited or going straight to wide?

They're vague for now but studios are starting to get back in the swing of specialty launches so it probably will be limited on that date.

Mendes won Best Director for "American Beauty" and shared an Oscar as producer when it won Best Picture.

But, yeah, he does seem to really want another.
