pepsa
30-04 September/October 2021 1. No Time To Die - €3.525.771 2. Dune - €459.861 3. The Father - €150.497 4. Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten rings - €143.325 5. Mijn beste vriendin Anne Frank - €135.257 (My best friend Anne Frank) Great opening for NTTD, comming in 5.6% higher than Spectre and about 19% higher than Skyfall. Bond is extremely big in the Netherlands, a market where spectre even beat out Skyfall. Both made insane money. Spectre grossed €20.52m whilst Skyfall ended up with €17.32m. As you can see the Dutch market is extremely leg dependent. Movies easily haveover 4x multies. Even marvel movies often go over 4 times multies. (Shang Chi will end up around 5x). To compete with both Skyfall and Spectre NTTD should drop less than 10%, an 8% second week drop would put it on par with Spectre a 3% drop would put it up with Skyfall. A bigger drop than 10% would be pretty bad and it would reduce it's chances for €20m ($23.2m) significantly. pepsa
So Spectre: €3.337m Weekend €0.973m Weekdays €4.350m Total first week NoTimeToDie: €3.525m Weekend (+5.6%) €1.100m Weekdays(+13%) €4.625m Total after 1st week: (+6.2% over spectre) Weekdays seem to have been quite a bit stronger. Still doesn't mean much, let's see how this weekend goes.

pepsa
Last weekend: 1. No Time To Die - €2.613.566 (-25.9%) 2. Dune - €349.250 (-24.1%) 3. The Father - €107.50 (-28.6%) 4. Shang Chi - €95.726 (-33.2%) 5. The Addams Family 2 - €95.280 (OW is 28.5% lower than the first movie) First off huge dissapointment for NTTD, this is a very big drop for a big movie, a lot worse than previous installments. It should have dropped 10% or less, it went to over 25%, this means beating Spectre will be very hard, if this weekend is bad it will be impossible. The midweek was ok again, spectre was at €8.2m after it's second week, NTTD is at roughly 8m so it lost about 550k in the second week compared to spectre. Depending on the next 2 weeks (they will be very important) we will have a good picture where it will end up). Starting the 18 of october the north /mid (the capital) of the netherlands has a autum hollyday week, the week after the south. Comming weekdays should be quite a bit stronger, the weekends should also be soft. NTTD should gain a bit of ground and it's 4 week cume should be even with spectre (€13.2m), after that it will lose ground fast. Spectre has christmas comming up so it's 8th and 9th week are big). Expecting €17.8m euro finish, maybe more if the holidays are big, less if they can't keep pace with spectre. To be honestly other movies had decent holds (pretty good but nothing great), keep in mind that movies drop harder on 3/4/5th weekends than on seconds ones. Lastly The Addams Family 2 opened 28.5% lower than the last entery that opened to 133k, it legged to a bit over 920k expecting 700k for this one. Again depending on holiday hold.

pepsa
According to estimates it grossed €10.43m total after this weekend. Meaning around €2.4m 3rd weekend give or take a 200k depending on actuals). Anyway still lower than spectres 3rd weekend.
pepsa
Weekend 41: 14-17 october 1. No Time To Die - €2.371.672 (-9.3%) 2. Dune - €278.445 (-20.3%) 3. Liefde zonder grenzen - €200.052 (love without borders) 4. Halloween kills - €151.321 5. The Addams Family 2 - €106.436 (+11.7%) Bond has a good hold, nothing spectacular and it was much needed one. It's hold was better than spectres 3rd weekend hold (-18.8%), still the weekend was 130k lower. But NTTD was aided by the holiday week starting this week. It's important for bond to go near flat next weekend to have a shot at €20m. It's trailing behind 300k on Spectre, spectre has a big drop on it's 4th weekend 32.5% so if NTTD manages to keep the drop below 10% it would pass spectre, this might be hard because of the arrival of venom. The good thing is spectre didn't have autum holidays but because of the 4 weeks difference in release date spectre will make use of Christmas and NTTD won't be able to. The best news of the weekend: The Addams Family 2, it increased over last weekend, should have another great weekend comming, with schools being out half of the country it should have great midweek as well. If next weekend increases again it might have a shot at matching or beating it's precedor after a 29% lower start. That said most likely still looking at 800-850k. Another 20% drop for dune, that quite good but nothing amazing. Expecting quite some impact from venom next week. Shang Chi dropped 34% to 63k, it will add around 200k more but it's run is basicly at an end. Anyhow finishing with €3.5m ($4m) is very good for a low level comicbook movie. 1

Favorite Fearless Legion
After that horrendous 2nd weekend drop it really needed at least flat here to be respectable for the franchise. Guess old people everywhere hate NTTD
keysersoze123
Another market where Bond has disappointed, its time to wind up and take it direct to Prime Video streaming. They can make TV-MA rated Bond series for streaming which cannot happen for theatrical movies. /s 1
pepsa
Autum holidays have started: Spectre mon - wednesday 481k vs NTTD 1.105m. Tot through wednesday NTTD: €11.5m vs €11.185m. It's lead is now a bit over 300k. NTTD needs to hold strong vs Venom now this weekend. If it does it might end next week with a 1m-1.3m lead, good enough to reach €19m and a decent shot at €20m. pepsa
According to estimates it's at $16m or rougly €13.74m, this would mean a €2.24m weekend or a 5-6% drop even if actuals put it at a 10% drop this is a good hold.
