AniNate
The 80s/90s cartoon still holds up. Every other iteration of Garfield is crap though, including the comic strip.

cannastop
The comic strip in the early days is passable. Don't think I'm a Garfield fan though.
rihrey
This is down to 37 on Metacritic (11 reviews). 💀 It'll probably bounce back up a little later on, but damn...
Maggie
Hannah Waddingham in back to back flops. First The Fall Guy, now this. Next, she will probably curse Mission Impossible 8

Not only did it not bounce back up, but it kept going down. It's at 32 now (17 reviews). 3rd worst-reviewed film of the year on Metacritic so far, only Poolman and Madame Web are below it. dudalb
And, after all the pseeimism here, it enedu up neck in neck with Furiosa for the #1 position. Very few saw that coming.

It's gonna be #5 on the WW box office list for the movies released the 1st 5 months of the year (currently, it's #8 but it will jump Fall Guy tomorrow, Marley this weekend, and Ghostbusters by the end of its run)... That's a HUGE win in this box office year. I wish it were WAY huger, but I guess Garfield sells a little better overseas than domestic...
