was last week deal only for Sony's films? Because i see other movies this week have got bigger jumps between. especially NWH has one of the smallest jump or is it just losing steam.

17.2, 14.8, 15.2, 14.9 - The last 4 Tue jumps for NWH when no holidays or super discounts were in play. This week is right on par. Wed will ease just 15% or so.

Not quite sure where to put this. I guess here is as good a place as any since the weekend thread doesn’t exist, maybe I’ll cross post there when it does.

Legion Weekend Forecast

Batman 55-63M (59M)

Uncharted 8.15M

Dog 5.25M

Jackass 1.15M

Cyrano 510k

Couple of these are higher than I had last week, LOL

Is the box office weekend forecast for the 2nd weekend based on pre sales tracking ?

Nope. Presales tracking for 2nd weekends is very rare, I think we had a little bit for NWH and Endgame but that’s pretty much it. Generally all weekends after OW people make forecasts based on past days and historical comps, including info like demos, calendar, etc

I think they're basing it on last weekend being a bit depressed and no major release this weekend. NWH might be able to add more shows this wknd. I don't think $4.6 is feasible simply because of impending spring break next week and some weekend business might shift to weekdays. $4M is still possible but needs a good Thursday increase to set up that possibility. Anything above $4.1 n I'm content (enough for top 10 13th wknds)

Toku basic nailed it, though I would also say that the weekdays look good for it assuming wed and th ~flat from mon. I know some smart people who think it could go higher than 4.6 👀

BOP is at just 4M, so 🤞

Though fwiw over 12 weeks, NWH actuals have been 10% higher than BOP’s forecast on avg, which would give 4.4 ;)

Interesting list. Missed the days when adult dramas legged out for like half a year just due to WOM and Oscar buzz

Yeah, it´s hard to assume it after some many years in the same way.  i still i´´m going to therapy to recover from the shock i got when BOM changed in that horrible way....

The BOM change destroyed the site.

The-numbers change is a little disorienting at first but basically neutral.

Bat wed even closer to what I though, uncharted NWH exactly what I expected.
