Coneilg93
Not going to lie, I was expecting less than that for today. Should pass BVS domestic this weekend or Monday. Twitter will be a hot mess.
charlie Jatinder
RRR easy #1 on THU. $1M ahead of Batman. Batman I haven't got require info as I would need, but I am told it will be around $2.25M. Don't take Batman numbers as my other ones. BestPicturePlutoNash
Of course it had 567 previews but 30+ for Lost City would be nice if it holds up. Would be 3rd/4th biggest OW of the year (Scream did 30m). 15th highest of 2021 ahead of Free Guy (28m). Highest for live-action original film post pandemic (Jungle Cruise based on a ride and did 35m, technically. Higher than animated Encanto's 3day of 27m. Pixar's Onward did 39.1m week before pandemic in 2020 lol) and highest since, like, Ford v Ferrari's 31.4m in Nov 2019...which isn't even "original". (1917 made 37m when expanded wide Jan 2020) Bullock's recent openings: Ocean's 8- 41.6m (2018) *IP* Our Brand is Crisis- 3.2m (2015) Gravity- 55.7m (2013) The Heat- 39.1m (2013) The Blind Side- 34.1m (2009) *true story* All About Steve- 11.2m (2009) The Proposal- 33.6m (2009) Extremely Loud was a limited release. All About Steve was a clunker. And Our Brand Is Crisis was a flop regardless. Decent decade

Tokugennumataka
Oof, -20% for TB on Thu? I'm guessing most holdovers see a sizable decline too.
