Maybe Minions can leg it out to 4m adm and TG:M to 3.7m - even without the Kinofest both had really good legs - I know that next weekend drops will be ugly, but think both could have a shot, though I'd say it should be easier for Minions and TG:M will end around 3.65m, still more than twice of what I expected during OWend.

Well, that event with cheaper tickets was a success, really strong Sat+Sun! There were bound to be increases but there's not a single release here which dropped from last weekend - cool! Outstanding performances from family relases and once more Top Gun Maverick! Where the Crawdads Sing is making up for the lukewarm opening - this weekend should have generated some additional WOM which seems quite good anyway!

In Austria, no event, so "normal" numbers, no release >10k admissions but Minions2 and Guglhupf came close.

Next weekend: With Ticket to Paradise, there's finally a halfway strong opener again, but I dont know if it can push the Minions from #1.

The second trend:

#1 Ticket to Paradise 200k
#2 Minions 2 70k
#3 Crawdads 60k
#4 After 37.5k
#5 Chase 62.5k (a bit strange that insidekino already put it behind After, maybe it had large previews?)

#6 TGM 35k
#7 Känguru 35k
#8 Orphan 2 32.5k
#9 Bullet Train 32.5k

#10 Guglhupfgeschwader 30k
#11 Super-Pets 27.5k
#12 Jeepers Creepers Reborn 25k
...
Lieber Kurt 35k (with previews)

Where I live it's cold and grey and if it looks similar in other regions then the weekend numbers should rather improve than go down in the third trend/Monday update.

After last week' increases, drops were bound to be steep but thanks to the surprisingly strong opening weekend of Ticket to Paradise, overall still a good weekend with a lot of releases >10k! These kind of movies tend to be leggy so it wouldn't surprise me if Ticket could reach 1mil in the end. In Austria, similar results but the openers were bigger - Ticket >30k!

Next weekend: The "biggest" real opener will probably be Don't Worry Darling, but Avatar gets a re-release starting Thursday which seems to sell pretty good, at least it's selling much better than the real opener at my theater!

As an aside, Guglhupfgeschwader, the 8th installment in the series of Rita Falk crime comedy adaptions, is now the most succesful one with its 1,26mil admissions, overtaking Leberkäsjunkie (6th in the series, 1,24mil total) with still something in the tank! While reviews were a bit mixed and the final multiplier will be lower, the franchise is still gaining new audiences it seems - congratulations!
