FB3 seem doing very fine, and avoid the collapse like how we saw in UK.

A fine weekend with a good opener, very close to 1k PTA for Fantastic Beasts 3! 3mil total are not locked but at least possible with this kind of opening and some good weekdays to come. Good holds and even one increase among family releases; the only real letdown was Morbius' drop.

In Austria, Fantastic Beasts 3 had a good opening too (not as strong as Germany) while family releases were even stronger - some a lot stronger!

Next weekend: All big family movies are already released and FB3 will remain on top, the only noteworthy opener over Easter weekend will be domestic comedy Eingeschlossene Gesellschaft which might become #2 for the weekend and, if similar releases are an indication, will make its total rather by legs than a big opening.

Germany is one of the few markets where FB3 didnt drop that much from FB2. 3M admissions is in my opinion also more likely than not since our fellow countrymen may not be able to step on the brakes on the autobahn but certainly love the fuck out of Harry Potter.

Mark G's prognosis for next weekend is up.

 

He predicts 362k attendants and 1,45M in total till Sunday for FB3. That would be quite a harsh drop but hes (rightly as we all bitterly know) citing the warm weather as the main reason for that. He still predicts 3M for the total run.

Yeah, Weather (especially in North and East Germany) during March and April is very unpredictable in most years. This year in the beginning of April we had snow here in Hesse for 2 Days even lol.

Just for clarification, Berlin is pretty much a punching back for jokes for all Germans outside Berlin 😄 it pretty much fits all criteria for a failed state lmao.

 

But its still a very nice city to visit.
