Last Year, NWH added ¥60M. Probably similar ¥50M for Avatar 2. But, NWH initial screening ended on March 2022, while Special Edition started on September 2022.

 

So, Not sure how much it can add, could be lesser or even ½ of NWH Re-release.

I think just enough to reach 2.4M admissions (about 30k tickets), vs the 10M of the first movie

It is coming back to few IMAX 3D locations in Hong Kong. Two show per day.

And here we go! From today Avatar 2 is back in over 100 theaters (hoping that they will increase again over the weekend). Unlike Spain and France it doesn't have big goals to reach but it would be nice to round up the current 44.66M euros to 45M

I will be spending 2 weeks with my aunt's family in Singapore and A2 is also coming back to IMAX and 3D here again in Singapore. Will go for my 4th round and bringing them to watch the movie since they were too busy travelling back in December and didn't have time to see the movie,

We kinda expected this kind of overseas performance from this, but man, I sometimes forget how huge this has been. It's insane.

And it wasn't even full potential because of pandemic in China and missing Russia. Probably over $2 billion OS under normal conditions. Wonder how high Avatar 3 can go assuming it's even more spectacular than Avatar 2.
