Pretty good jump for today.  Expecting the same throughout the weekend.

What’s your overall impression for all the EA shows? I know it’s hard to do comps when there are so many of them and in different days of the week, but what are you thinking for how much it will inflate Thursday previews?

Really tough to tell.  I think I had around 850k for the first set.  The two weekends are a different story with some matinee and PLFs mixed in.  Not many movies to weekend EA so there's no telling how different the walkups will be.  If I had to throw out a number, maybe 3m for all EA combined?

Been thinking this for a while, but any chance either of you have Meg 2 comps?  Kinda think this might play similarly and be a backloaded flick with some small amount of upfront interest.

 

I could be way off base, naturally.  Just think that while this is an established series, I don't think it'll be as relatively frontloaded as many of the listed here (not including Bullet Train obvs).

Meg 2 only had 9 days of presales, but that'll be a good one to add next week.

I will be adding Meg 2 comp on T-9. That's the earliest I started tracking it

The tracking of this movie has been a rollercoaster. It went from "over or under $20M" to "$35M+" back down to "20m opening weekend"
