I wouldn't be surprised if the delays meant that October 23rd date was looking iffy. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony moves it back up a week OS should they manage to get it back on schedule. I do think Bond should shoot a little earlier just to factor in potential delays.

Like I said on the previous page - if you remember the press conference announcing the title and cast and any subsequent press releases, they all mention a "global release date" of November 6, it just wasn't clear whether the UK was still getting it early or not. It seems the decision to make it day and date was done before the press conference.

New videoblog/featurette landing today:

http://www.business-standard.com/article/news-ians/more-behind-the-scenes-footage-from-spectre-in-offing-115022600760_1.html

The second video blog of the 24th James Bond movie "Spectre" will be aired Thursday on www.007.com to give a behind the scenes glimpse of the upcoming action thriller film.

Focusing on director Sam Mendes, the footage will feature Daniel Craig as James Bond along with his co-stars Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw.

"The reason I'm doing the second Bond movie are the reasons I would do any movie, really, which is all to do with the story. And in this movie, 'Spectre', what you have is a movie entirely driven by Bond. He is on a mission from the very beginning," Mendes said in a statement.

Talking about Bond, Mendes further added: "It's about whether or not to pursue the life he's always pursued, whether he matters and is he going to continue or not."

The story of the film is about a cryptic message from Bond's past which sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service, MI6, alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind the organisation Spectre.

In addition to the second video blog, a new photograph of Mendes will be available on the official site of "Spectre", which is slated to release Nov 6, 2015.
