MI7 won't win weekend - Miyazaki's Final Film did lose seats but I am expecting again another great Occupancy Weekend -

 

MI7 PS so far seems strong in IMAX.

I know the industry in Japan doesn't have great expectations for the movie... maybe it gets 120,000 mimorin seats on OD? That would be about 250,000 seats in total.

Weekend has been going very steady. Will hopefully their day break screenings are going well! Now, with the announcement of Last Screening Date, we will obviously see good sizable increase and ofc it's Summer Vacation and they got Obon Festival too!

 

Just like Toei's "One Piece: Film Red" erased Ghibil's "Howl's Moving Castle" I expect SLAM DUNK to do the same with Ponyo though might not be enough
