339 Listed TC

I combined the Tracked Seating Capacity from Mimorin (148 TC) &Plaza (Aeon 90 TC + Cinema Sunshine 13 TC) for 251 TC

So Mimorin is tracking 43.9% of all TC (They have listed 337 TC)

Nice, Formula 1 was popular in Japan even before the first Japanese GP in 76

In the future, I guess the only growth point for Hollywood movies in Japan is IMAX box office.

The same goes for China and South Korea. I remember that Dune 2 Box office in China had a very high share of IMAX.

Japan's IMAX screens have just entered a period of rapid growth, and most of Japan's cinemas are old, causing many cinemas to malfunction during the release of Avatar 2. The future of IMAX is bright.

Oppenheimer 's evening grossing is very strong(It shows The Hollywood audience in Japan now only middle-aged and elderly people.)The final box office may have a chance to touch 3b.

Friday went well. I will see how Weekend Paced up. So for the current time I am going with ¥2.0B at the highest possibility

Yes, IMAX being the only point of growth for Hollywood but I guess that Disney Animation & Illumination that can do numbers without much support from premium screens

TIKTOK getting young audiences into the cinema like "ano hana" and "変な家" in charge of the afternoon box office, and Hollywood movies "Oppenheimer" all older audiences in charge of night box office

That's obviously true but I do expect Despicable Me 4 to better (DM3 did above ¥7.0B)

This Year's Summer Lineup will be Extremely Packed. Not Counting Those Movies that haven’t been scheduled in Summer yet and it already had 10+ good titles in competition.

Still no news for Mamoru Hosoda's new work.

Talking about "Strange House" (変な家), distributor says that it's fixed that the title will cross ¥3.0B and a chance of ¥3.5B is still at the range. Really an Expectational Performance !

Waitting for the confirm of the "Strange House 2" and "Strange Draws"Movies.

GKIDS has announced the acquisition of North American rights to Mamoru Hosoda’s entire film catalog this month, so I still expect we’ll have new updates for his works soon.
