Only 4 Live Action Japanese Films has exceeded ¥6.0B in Last 10 Years!

Eternal Zero

Shin Godzilla

Code Blue

Godzilla Minus One

Huge Achievement!

@Brainbug @Cookson

Fantastic milestone and overall achievement. I believe Toho must be very excited about the franchises' Future since both Minus One and Shin Godzilla have also had this incredible reception. The Reiwa (live-action) series definetly paints a more healthier picture for Godzilla in Japan than the late Millenium era films did.

News has resonated so much over here. Akira, Dragon Ball and Goku are currently top 3 trending topics across Twitter, non-anime related media is covering the news and dubbing actors for Goku and Vegetta have expressed about it.

It definitely created what it was perhaps the largest entertainment phenomenon in the 90s for the region.

RIP to a legend. There are few manga and anime as influential as Dragon Ball, for the shonen Genre its basically the Big Bang of all tropes and cliches that we know (and mostly love). Goku, Vegeta, Freeza are timeless characters.

China Ministry of Foreign Affair message to Akira:

We feel a lot depress for Mr.Akira’s Death,we hope his family are all well.He is a very well-known Manga creator and his work is also extremely popular in China.We have noticed so many people in China also feel sad about Akira’s Death,We believe there will be more great people in Japan contributed to China-Japan culture interaction and friendship in the future.

RIP Akira Toriyama

The author of my favourite series 😢

I'm sorry he died so early and also in the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball, with many events and celebrations planned over the course of the year 😞

Man had no enemies. Even MFA China is mourning, Jackie Chan to Football Clubs, Mexican to all Latin American Artists. France President, Prime Minister... Foreign Embassy... Not to forget all Mangaka (Inou, One....) here. All set of inspiration. A legend that can never be replaced. I want to write a lot of words still never gonna be enough. I am currently feeling like "Sometimes, The world is so unfair like why.. why.."

Can -1 get to 7b yen? That would be insane if it did. Also, if it pulled that off then it would end up being just 1b off of Shin Godzilla which would be crazy.

Doing some pretty amazing things right now!
