When you look at the table that RYSU posted above the yen and dollars done match for wk10 . Dollars made more sense there since it was late September. The yen total has to be a mistake. Murgatroyd and I made a revision on our respective charts and table.

Week 4 was Obon, the largest week.

¥650 million ($5.8 million), -07%, ¥19.98 billion ($171.7 million)¥510 million ($4.6 million), -21%, ¥22.40 billion ($183.7 million)You see the yen increase is far greater than the dollar increase. 2.4b yen makes no sense there. I adjusted that week to reflect the dollar amount and all the numbers down the line on my table. It made its last 2b in december and new years in an extended run not shown corpses table.

This projection is with 15% average drops (5-20% drops applied randomly) after GW which has yet to materialize in the run. At 10% or less and a 100% hold here or there and it climbs to 300m+.

Spirited Away numbers have been converted to current exchange rate.

With the way Frozen has performed I see it keeping pace with SA and I'm calling it a lock, I just don't see it "crashing" like HMC.

Another thing that doesn't make sense is the midweeks for SA cut in half well after summer is over.

* This midweek is going to be 15.5 after all. I thought that was going to be short.

True, but the others didn't go up nearly 50% on GW weekend like frozen did.

Of course I'd love to see a mere 30% drop and have it stay above OW, but that's a pretty tall order, even for Frozen.

The first Thermae Romae movie only dropped 33.6% post-GW after having almost 30% increase the week before (the biggest in the top 10), while the others dropped between 40-70%. People said that happened because there were a lot of sellouts for that movie on GW, which means GW did burn some demand, but many people still weren't able to see it, so they went on the following weekend instead. If Thermae Romae could do it, why can't Frozen? :P
