Jessie
Leo DiCaprio is a good actor but I don't get why people make a big deal that he hasn't won an Oscar. Plenty of really good actors have never won and Oscar. Also plenty of great actors won an Oscar only when they were much older. Yeah to be fair, Leo has never lost unfairly but worse performances have gotten Oscars in the past. If Jennifer Lawrence deserved an Oscar for SLP then Leo truly deserves an Oscar.
Jawa
Leonardo Dicaprio is not a great actor. He has a fantastic screen presence and is always entertaining to watch. But a great actor he is not. The only movies of his in which I enjoyed his character were Django Unchained and Catch Me If You Can (and maybe Titanic). Every other role he's the same high-strung, whiny, tortured individual. I enjoy most of his movies, but not because of him.

ChD
Bruce Willis is actually a really talented actor. His only problem is that he has the 'Cage' syndrome (He picks movies without ... well, thinking)

ChD
Prisoners had the best cinematography this year. Edit: Yes, I meant last year, you ungrateful bastard. The movie is also one of the many under rated movies of last year Edited February 26, 2014 by ChD

23IsEverywhere
Even if you don't think Gravity should win, that is going to far. It might be because I saw it on DVD instead of in a theater... also the "for your consideration" has the unfortunate impact of making drama scenes seem very cheesy. To be clear by not nominated I meant for visual effects it did have great cinematography. I might have a very different opinion if I saw it in IMAX instead. What I don't think you may realize is that Gravity is *basically* an all CGI movie.
