After having seen Prometheus for a third time (in IMAX 3D this time, mindblowing), I can definitely say (Captain Obvious I know) that it's not a movie for the general audience, I'm glad it's doing gangbusters worldwide, but people must be surprised.

I'm seeing it for a 2nd time this weekend. :DAlso, is there any word on whether or not this is gonna get released in China?

WOM though here in the U.S. is pretty good, people are talking about it wither good or bad which makes people curious about the movie. After my 2nd viewing I only liked it more than the 1st time. I think it will do well worldwide.

TA has not followed SM in dailies at all, so I don't think it's appropriate to use it as a model. Excluding post-Memorial weekend SM's weekend drops have been consistently under 40% - something TA has been unable to do.

As I had said it's been close to SM1 the past 2 weeks(ends) in numbers (not the whole time)......if weekend estimates hold it will be true again this weekend.
