Not really. The fictional city BH6 is set in, San Fransokyo, is a mix of San Fran and Tokyo, so I guess it is only cyberpunk if you consider Tokyo to be cyberpunk.

Maybe. On the other hand, this movie probably has appeal more in line with Wreck-It Ralph than Frozen or Tangled so they may be trying to ape that instead.

This is facing stiff competition with Interstellar opening on the same date. But I believe it can stand on its own given the different demographic targets of the two movies.

 

And I need some first look on the characters!! We had one for Frozen before 2012 ended!

Weird, no mention of any voice actors at all yet. Nothing on IMDB or HSX. Maybe they are taking the next step and having computer generated voices now.

Finally some news. This is definitely meeting the release date, probably also the reason why Chris Williams was brought to co-direct. Much like why Jennifer Lee was asked to co-direct Frozen iirc.
