There is no Iron Man here. But at least Dr Strange numbers can happen bcos of goodwill of 1st one and general Marvel Brand awareness. Guardians didn't flop because of Guardians. It flopped because it opened into the biggest film of all time that had unprecedented screen counts, audience numbers and just was generally a monoloth that destroyed everything. It showed that even Marvel cannot release a film here in August as the Korean films will crush it. Guardians 2 will have a monster increase this year.
