Jolie, Hayek and GOT actors. That Endgame number would never be beaten again if BO landscape has changed in korea.

Eternals had a Korean actor, though its sale made sense anyways. NWH had restrictions, so didn't have too many seats to sell.

This may be very American heavy.

imbruglia
I assume it won't have great reaction across Asia the film being 2 hours 40m doesn't help when it already has disadvantage for being black film. and then you have all that incels hating to fuel it. also Marve seems like really lost popularity. they need big thing asap. new avengers with spiderman or doctor strange, or spiderman lol x-men.. etc.. Nobody in East Asia like Simu Liu and its representation about so-called Eastern/Chinese culture. Tony Leung, not even Wen Wu, is the only reason they care. ZeeSoh
Opening day of BP:WF along with some other recent and relevant movies Doctor Strange MOM - 719,932 Black Panther 1 - 630,468 Thor L&T - 383,898 Venom 2 - 204,128 The Batman - 198,541 Black Widow - 197,418 Black Panther : Wakanda Forever - 183,604 Shang Chi - 139,965 Morbius - 69,311 In terms of MCU, this is the 21st biggest OD amongst 30 movies In terms of reception, it is 3rd lowest in MCU in CGV ratings at 83% with only Thor L&T (79%) and Eternals (78%) being lower. In terms of Naver, it is on par with Doctor Strange MOM, higher than Thor L&T, Shang Chi and Eternals but lower than every other MCU movie. The first one did not have great reception but it was at least average. This one is bad for an MCU movie, although average for a phase 4 MCU movie in SK. Phase 4 has seen some wild swings in SK in terms of reception. Black Widow and NWH have been amongst the top in terms of SH movie reception in SK whereas the other phase 4 movies have been closer to the bottom. Based on reception and OD so far, it's looking to drop 50% or more from Black Panther 1 total in SK. PS: looking at attendance data provided by Imbruglia on the prior page, it at least explains the potential 50% drop from the first movies attendance seeing that the market overall is down 50% in attendance. Obviously given its reviews so far, BP2 would still have fallen from BP1 even if overall market attendance was the same but it would not have fallen to this extent 2
