Rsyu
Wednesday of the last week of the month is culture day in Korea. All movies from 6pm to 8pm receive a 50% discount, hence the higher admissions numbers. Despite the uptick in attendance, gross stayed relatively flat or decreased in some cases.

Rsyu
An article appeared on the WSJ about interstellar in Korea which gives an insight to it's educational and movie-going culture. ‘Interstellar’ Inspires Koreans To Study Space Science Hollywood blockbuster “Interstellar” may have used some artistic license with science, but it’s also inspired South Koreans to learn about the real thing. In the three weeks since opening, the movie has attracted nearly 7.3 million moviegoers in South Korea and racked up 58.2 billion won, or $52.8 million, in ticket sales, according to the Korea Film Council. That’s about the same pace as “Frozen,” the country’s second-most watched foreign film after “Avatar.” As of Sunday, South Korea was the second biggest foreign market for the film behind China, with almost 40% of the US’s gross sales, according to Box Office Mojo. The film’s huge success has also sparked interest in phenomena like black holes and Einstein’s theory of relativity, resulting in Interstellar-related events and online educational offerings. Rsyu
Interstellar has gathered a total of 543,688 admissions this week from Monday through Thursday. Daily drop looks harsh but drops from last week is another decent sub 30% drop. Gross drop wasn't too bad either with a slight improvement in exchange rate. It should be close to 700K admissions by Friday. With 600-700K adm Saturday-Sunday week four for Interstellar should finish at 1.3M-1.4M. It should exceed 8 million admissions by Sunday too, on its 25th day of release. This will be 2 days faster than Frozen (27 days) and the same pace as Avatar (25 days) but 2 days slower than IM3 (23 days) Edited November 27, 2014 by Rsyu

Rsyu
Thursday to Friday jump for Interestellar is on par with last weeks jump (50%). If Friday to Saturday jump remains the same (121%) Saturday's number should be around 377K admissions and 718K for Sat-Sun. With this in mind, Interstellar should be at 8.2-8.3 million admissions total by the end of the week.

Rsyu
Interestellar over IM3? I think it's lock. If this week comes to 1.3-1.4M admissions like I think it will, than it will have fallen approximately 30% weekly since it's second week. A sub 40% drop will get it there for sure in week 5 and a sub 50% drop would ensure it happens in week 6.

Rsyu
Apparently, Interstellar's IMAX screening will end on 12/2 to make way for exodus. It's a joke because every single showing, including the 2am one is continuously sold out. I'm pretty certain exodus will see no where near the same demand. Interstellar's chances for 10 million admissions looks very slim now
