Yes, and great prediction btw, that hold is very very strong. I think we can add this to the pile of great word of mouth films we've seen this year. Assassination will hit it early being released on a wednesday but with presales not really picking up yet I think your prediction isn't so far fetched now.

Dang in my prediciton I tought it would open on a thursday, so it will get hit a lot more on wednesday and than stay almost flat  or decrease a bit on thursday, a 40% increase on friday and 130-140% on sat.

Another film that's been showing some good holds while flying under the radar is Insidious 3. It's already the 15th most attended film in the horror genre and the biggest since The Conjuring.

Yeah i also noticed, last week it increased like 25% over it's dailys, it kind of sucks that it didn't increase monday over monday but a 25% drop it absolutly good :)

Thb what do we expect for Incidious 3?

I did  weekend numbers for our russian site. Just remember that I am using opening weekend exchange rates so totals in USD might be slightly different. It's far from perfect but still better than always use current exchange rates.  I hope some might find it useful.

Inside out increased by 41%, Insidiuos chapter 3 by 15%

HELL YEAH 5M IO IS LOCKED, I am calling it locked, guys totaly locked.

It's just increased over yesterday 122K for today, this is amazing, just unbelievable.

Realy i have no words...

I wouldn't bank on it just yet. I'm seeing a lot of similarities between this run and the run for MLDCTR which actually failed to reach 5M admissions (it finished with 4,801,549 admissions). Competition looks more fierce too for IO.

inside out is putting together quite a run.

Can you believe this increase???

It's so good :D

Probably will fall to 110k tomorow then 112K thursday  and won't decrease more than 10% over the weekend and we are looking at 3.3-4M afther this week.

I got no words guys :D

I banked it a long time ago :D

You are probably right, but just this increase today made me so optimistic. I mean it increase on it's second tuesday with a monday that was inflated with 44% over last weeks monday. That is quite amazing isn't it :D

Btw do you have a list of top animation movies of all time?

Oh it's a WoM beast make no mistake and bodes well for future Pixar releases down the line. You only see these types of runs maybe once or twice a year if that and they're always fun to follow :)

I'd be happy with anything above 100K to be honest :)

Here's the top 10 most attended animated films since 2001

1. 10,279,829 Frozen (2014)

2.   5,062,722 Kung-fu Panda 2 (2011)

3.   4,673,009 Kung-fu Panda (2008)

4.   3,300,533 Shrek 2 (2004)

5.   3,015,165 Howl's moving Castle (2004)

6.   3,000,056 How to train your dragon 2 (2014)

7.   2,801,949 Big Hero 6 (2015)

8.   2,844,159 Shrek 3 (2007)

9.   2,603,857 How to train your Dragon (2010)

10. 2,344,700 Shrek (2001)

Inside Out should break into the top 10 tomorrow pushing Shrek out in the process. Top 4 looks like a sure bet too but displacing the KFP series will take something special.

Inside out just needs to keep enough screens, the Wom will do the rest. I am prety confident that it will break 5M mark and be 2nd on the animation list :D

So next week IO has competition of Minions and MI5? Thats tough :(

Minions could bomb but MI5 will take the majority of screens during that week. Factor in a good hold for assassination and Inside out could potentially lose a lot of screens and showtimes.
