I've said it on a thread in the old forum and got blasted for it, but this confirms that Asians will eat up almost every turd Hollywood serves them, because they are mind boringly culturally provincial and perceive most everything American as the bestest thing ever.

And before you accuse me of being a racist/bigot, I'm Asian my self.

Yep

It's coming 1st August here, very much looking forward to it.

I really wish Song Kang Ho was a better English speaker as he could have done the Hollywood thing no problem in my opnion

How lucky of you! I want to see it so bad but they still haven't set a release date here  :(

I think the movie will be a big success in South Korea, or at least I hope so  :D I'll keep it in mind to bother you around August about your opinion on the movie  :P

And agree, if Song Kang Ho can speak English pretty well like say Lee Byung Hun, then that would be great, his acting talents can shine through so much in Hollywood.

This criticism doesn't make any sense, that list is of hollywood films, by definition all the films will be American. But if you look at the whole market then local films actually perform better than Hollywood ones.

Yep, only one hollywood movie in all-time top 8.

I think that's great. Cause aside from the Scandal movie starring Lee Byung Hun, which I haven't got the chance to watch, all other local movies in the Top 8 are good to great movies IMO  :)

I don't like historical dramas, others are very good.

I highlighted all but 3 of the films on the list, the rest are mostly complete crap. It's embarrassing that the TF3 and MI4 are the third and fourth most attendant Hollywood films in SK. Did they not have movie theaters in the 70s, 80s and 90s?

TDKR and Les Mis are both crap. How the hell can they be in that list?See? I can decide for an entire nation which movies are crap just like you did. All high and mighty like that.
