Getting this back on topic (kinda) how do you guys think this weekend woulda played out if Joe hadn't moved? Would it have stolen all of Mike and Ted's thunder? Would Ted and Mike have done just as well and Joe bombed? Would they have all been spread out more evenly? Or would Joe have opened big on top of the big OWs for Mike and Ted and we perhaps had a weekend that rivaled the all time big ones? Definitely interesting to think about.

I think Ted still could've broken out on the 13th. Not real sure about Magic Mike, though.

In that case, I think Friday would have been Joe 25m, Mike 15m. Same basic total just more Joe centric. Either way, Tatum would have won...again...again.

Maybe GI Joe 2 would have done poorly and it wouldn't be unreasonable to think Magic Mike could have outgrossed GI Joe 2 had they released on the same day

Lol, I can just imagine some of the epic meltdowns that could've been going on in this thread right now if MM had upset Joe!

Huh? There was negativity all over the internet about SM1 and SM2. And while WOM on SM2 helped immensely, SM3 just cemented it and there was NOTHING Sony, Webb and Co. could do to prevent it. But, luckily, while those in the minority may have the loudest voices on this, even if they all boycott the film it won't affect it as much as they'd like. The same thing happened before BB, then the film won most of the skeptics over. And Spidey is so much easier to hate than Batman. ......
