I saw it OD in theaters. I was pretty big on Robert Rodriguez and expected something on par with Spy Kids or Spy Kids II... It was worse than Spy Kids 3D. Much fucking worse. I will say that George Lopez gave me a smile.

Sharkboy & Lavagirl was a film I mildly liked when I was 10. I know someone who actually saw a sneak preview of that film, weeks before it came out. I also remember when there were rumors of a Sharkboy & Lava Girl II, despite the first not really being a hit, ah 2006.

It was never meant to be a big hit, people just didn't get it at the time. Such is the box office.
