I still can't believe that this franchise ended up being so polarizing.

As far this board goes, I think a iJack had a lot to do with that. People who were initially indifferent are now rooting against it. I have never seen a so-called fan of a movie turn so many people against its box office as he has. Fascinating stuff.

I think it's a combo of being a reboot, hence compared to Nolan's Batman trilogy by Spidey fanboys... and then TA blowing up added more fuel to the fire. Oh, and then there is internal spidey division because it is coming so close to the original trilogy, which has fans of its own.I'm planning to take the 20th off work now. Maybe the 19th, too. When TDKR drops the forums will be VERY entertaining lol.
